Creation Pcut 630 Usb Driver

Pcut ct 630 The Creation pcut ct 630 and Creation pcut cto 630 are good vinyl plotters for the price but it isn’t the easiest thing to setup. First thing it has usb port but I have never had any luck with it, a quick search on Google shows that most people use the serial port anyway. The program I’ve had most success with is Sign Blazer, it isn’t the best looking software but it does the job. In the guide i will be setting up a Creation pcut ct 630 but the same steps work with the pcut cto 630, the pcut cto 630 is a newer version of the pcut ct 630 To setup the Creation pcut ct 630 using the serial connection you first need to make sure your serial port is working on your PC or laptop.

If you right click on my computer and then click on manage this will bring up the Computer Management Window in the left column you will need to click on device manager. Which should look something like this? From here you need to click on “Ports (COM & LPT)”, this will should you all your serial (COM) and parallel (LPT) ports. Sign Blazer only sees the first few serial ports so if the one you want to use is over 5 you will have to right click and go to properties the go to the advanced port settings and change it to something lower. Now open Sign Blazer and go to the cutter preferences, the Cutter should be “Creation pcut ct 630”. Change the Output Device to the serial (COM) port you’re using; it should look something like this: Next you will need to click on “comm settings” you shouldn’t have to change anything but just make sure they are the same as the following: In the manual that comes with the PCut CT 630 it says you should set the Baud rate to 19200 but I couldn’t get it working at that speed.

Creation are creating unlimited projects for advertisement signs, designs and. Image Download. PCUT CR Series Cutting Plotter USB Driver: rar: 0. Creation PCUT CR1080. Previously you should make a backup copy of the old driver (*.ecd file). Drivers marked with are not yet contained in the current release of CoCut or were changed quite recently. With marked drivers are for flatbed milling machines and engraving machines and only included as base drivers.

Now that is all setup you will need to make sure the vinyl plotter is setup. Once your vinyl plotter is turned on you will need to press the “on-line” button then the mode button 7 times to get the Baud setting, if you haven’t guessed this needs to be 9600. To change the baud rate is a bit strange to change it to a lower speed press the + and for a faster speed press. After all that is done remember to press the mode button to get back to the screen for setting the X and Y axis, then press the “on-line” button and make sure the screen says on-line. The plotter won’t cut unless the screen says on-line.

With all that done you should be ready to use your plotter. If you have any questions about setting up creation pcut ct 630 or pcut cto 630 feel free to ask in the comments.

I personally have never got mine to work with the USB driver, but when you install the USB driver the command prompt will open do what it needs to do and closes so your driver is installed. The USB driver is not like a normal printer driver, the PCUT CTO630 has an internal USB to serial convertor.

So if check out the device manager on your PC and look in the Ports (COM & LPT) you will have a new COM (serial) port, once you have the COM port number you will be able to set up your vinyl plotter with the help of my set up guide You can have a try getting it working. But my advice is to use the serial connection and not USB Redemption.Man. Hi, i’m at my wits end with with cutter, its the cto 630, it has never been reliable in the 3 months I have had it. At present the cutter is messing all the letters up, cutting over previous and mishaping the letters/numbers.

I have tried all the rollers to make sure the vinyl is being fed, i have taken it off the roll so the cutter doesn’t pull it through etc. But the cutter wont even print a correct test square, it ranges from a square 2mm x 25mm to 5mm to 25mm its totally random. So it must be the plotter and not the software.

(do you agree the software is flexi pro 10. Thanks for any help you can give me in advance. If the test square isn’t getting printed the correct every time then the fault is with the plotter. It may that the belt that moves the blade left and right is slipping and you may be able to hear it slipping if you listen. Saying that I wouldn’t have the first idea on how to tighten or replace the belt. If the plotter is only 3 months old I would suggest first contacting the seller to see if you can get a replacement if you can’t, you may have to talk to creation support for a replacement under warranty but I have never dealt with them so I don’t know how good they are.

Redemption.Man. I bought a cto630 creation and managed to make cutouts in vinyl normally. However, I can’t do the alignment of the laser for cutting and contouring by flexi The company that sold it to me said that it has a specific software to work with this plotter, but he sells and doesn’t even know the name And said that with the flexi has no way to align the laser, only the tip of the needle, which makes it almost impossible to make contour cuts. They could inform me that I must purchase software to get work doing this contour cutting plotter? How do I adjust the laser?? CTO630 START UP PROBLEMS I was wondering if anyone can help with a couple of things.

I received the cutter yesterday, the first issue is i cannot slide the rollers left or right, both rollers are stuck on the left hand side and won’t budge at all? Also i have installed sign cut pro but when i go to install the usb drivers it won’t let me download the file, i read in the description that the cutter will work on macs but have seen when trying to download it only goes up to 10.8 whereas i am running 10.9(mavericks). Just wondered if you could help with the above?

Hi just an update Well still at the end of my teather i have loaded windows 7 and sign blazer elaments 6 and still no response i have checked it in different usb ports and still no luck when i look in device manager it shows the connection as usb serial converter and then usb serial port comm 3 and in the printer device part of windows that shows the devices connected it shows that the usb connection is to a unspecified device (This is were you can set your default printers) i realy could do with some guidance as i have jobs to cut thanks all phil. Most of the value cutters, do not work on USB anyway, They have a cheap Chinese chipset.

The best thing is to put it on a Tripp-Lite Keyspan Adapter. And be done with it.

That is the brand name.and the only one that will work with a vinyl cutter. Then use the null modem cable with it. Example below. The Tripp-Lite Keypan Adapter has helped 100's of people on here.

Find the best price The USB end of Keyspan goes into com port on computer, then null modem cable is connected to Keyspan, then to vinyl cutter.
